Between 31 August and 2 September 2018, the Tourist Organization of Negotin Municipality organized the “The Ramblers Tourism Conference” in Negotin, Serbia for the establishment of the Association of Ramblers, an event meant to be the point starting with the establishment of a Romanian-Serbian cooperative association in view of promoting, in a unitary way, hiking in the cross-border area.
The event was attended by 50 people, including 35 Serbs and 15 Romanians. The participants also took part in a training session in the field for the purpose of: improve knowledge on managing and promoting this type of tourism. At the event, the participants from Serbia and Romania also did hiking on the canyon of the river Vratna, an area of rare beauty and a beautiful example of a mountain trail, but also a familiar hunting ground rich in deer, splinters and mouflon.
