The Bios Fund, with headquarter in Donji Milanovac, established as a civil and non profit organization on 2007, by the Law on Funds, Foundations and Endowments of the Republic of Serbia, registered in the Register of Funds, Foundations and Foundations of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Serbia.

The harmonization and enrollment in the Register of Foundations and Endowments in accordance with the provisions of the amendments to the Law made in 2012, when the Bios Fund registered in the register of the foundations of the Agency for Business Registers of the Republic of Serbia.

The scope of work of the organization is determined by the founding act, and it is realized through local, regional, national and international cooperation with institutions and organizations through programs and projects activities.

The goals of the Bios fond foundation are creating conditions for stimulating and improving activities in the field of cultural heritage, natural heritage, tourism, environmental protection, as well as the achievement of economic development goals, and contribution to the development of theoretical and practical knowledge, specifically related to the development and application of modern technology, knowledge and skills in the protection, development and improvement of natural, cultural values ​​and the achievement of overall economic development.
